I fell in love with music at an early age.
Listening to my parents' record collection and discovering various instruments by myself, I soon was trying to get answers why and when I perceived music to be kind of magic and touching. Taking this concept one step further, I wanted to understand how to capture this magic through recording, mixing and mastering.
As a result I developed a strong interest in every aspect of music, from the simple generation of a sound, to music theory, to recording, to mixing, up until up until the final mastering stage.
Originally from Berlin, I moved to Vienna and studied "Tonmeister" (Audio Engineering) at the University of Music and Performing Arts.
In 2011 I began to specialize in audio mastering and started to buy analog gear for that purpose.
Since then I've had the good luck to master many songs from a  broad variety of genres, learning a lot along the way.
In addition to being an Audio Engineer, I am also a musician and I know how it feels to put "your baby" into someone else's hands.

Because certainly, it is possible to rock your baby gently or comfort it with a more tonic touch.
